Job Description
We are looking for an AI Technician to join an innovative organisation in the aerospace sector based in Leiden. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, testing, and verification of advanced aerospace systems and test configurations. Working from technical documentation, procedures, and project requirements, you will help ensure products meet the highest quality and performance standards. You will work closely with experienced technicians, engineers, and quality specialists in a collaborative, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and integration activities for aerospace products and test configurations.
- Carry out technical work independently on flight and non-flight hardware.
- Execute verification and acceptance testing to ensure products meet technical and quality requirements.
- Support the development, evaluation, and implementation of technical improvements and modifications.
- Prepare and maintain integration documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of integration procedures.
- Design, develop, and manufacture tooling and support equipment for assembly and integration activities.
- Prepare products for shipment and support logistics activities when required.
- Provide technical support for products during customer site activities when necessary.
- Create documentation for verification and acceptance testing.
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to the resolution of non-conformities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and technical performance.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements
- MBO Level 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in assembly, integration, testing, or production within a high-tech manufacturing or aerospace environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Experience with verification and acceptance testing is an advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week).
