In this role, you will directly influence our strategy, tooling, and delivery approach while working with cutting-edge technologies across a wide range of enterprise projects.
We’re making a decisive move into AI-enabled solutions, and we need builders who can turn ambition into reality. As our AI Solutions Engineer, you will prototype, launch, and refine AI agents, copilots, intelligent automations, and internal tools, while helping define how CLEVR delivers AI, from the technologies we use to the delivery patterns we establish. You’ll join a team of consultants, architects, and engineers in a culture that values initiative, experimentation, and impact over bureaucracy, with hybrid working from our modern Amersfoort office. Your role will include:
- Build smart AI solutions for clients, from early-stage prototypes and MVPs to production-ready applications such as AI agents, business applications, and intelligent automations.
- Design robust AI and non-AI architectures and integrate them into existing systems and workflows using APIs, middleware, vector search, prompt orchestration, and retrieval pipelines.
- Help shape CLEVR’ s AI delivery capability by developing internal tools, reusable accelerators, and scalable ways of working.
- Partner with consultants, architects, and clients to turn business challenges into practical AI solutions, and support and lead workshops, demos, and discovery sessions.
- Explore and evaluate the latest AI tools, models, and frameworks, while sharing knowledge internally and driving AI-first thinking across the organisation.
What you bring to the table
- 2–6 years of experience building software, automations, or AI-powered applications in real-world environments.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building AI use cases such as agents, copilots, RAG solutions, conversational AI, or intelligent workflow automation.
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript are a must, and Python is preferred.
- Experience in Git and/or being able to set up pipelines in GitHub
- Experience with Tanstack, convex, and terminal is a plus.
- Experience integrating solutions through APIs, webhooks, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and frameworks such as Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, not only using the tools but also using tools to set up and maintain AI coding workflows.
- A track record of building and shipping working solutions, whether in client work, product teams, or personal projects.
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-moving environment with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a builder mindset; client-facing or consultancy experience is a plus
